UKULENNY
Ukulenny is an ukulele performer and educator based in Oakland, CA. He received his musical training from UC Berkeley and CSU East Bay, and taught choir and orchestra for 5 years before becoming a full time musician. After spending the first half of his life studying various instruments, piano, guitar, cello, saxophone, he fell in love with the ukulele in 2009 and began a new musical journey. He practiced the uke on his daily commute, started his YouTube career, and eventually grew to worldwide success. His one-man band show of ukulele, bass, vocals, beatbox, sax, and melodica has wowed audiences at ukulele festivals in California, Hawaii, Reno, Lansing, and across borders in Canada, the UK, France, and Germany. Currently, he continues to preach the ukulele gospel, leading ukulele jams in the Bay Area and serving as a brand ambassador for Kala Brand Music.
